Today I met with Eric Doub of Ecofutures Building of Boulder. I contacted Eric because he built the first Zero Energy Home in Boulder. I liked the way he incorporated some simple things (like an earth tube), some used stuff (recycled solar thermal panels), with some new stuff (like really good windows).
We talked and happily, he's willing to help me out in moving the project forward. The idea is to take a fairly typical house and see how far we can push it to being a Zero Energy Home.
