Recent Upgrades

So I haven't posted in months, but work cuts into my day ;-) Here is a list of all the things upgraded in the last year.
1. CFL's @ nearly 100% other than two halogen pendant lamps in the kitchen which are on a dimmer. I keep looking for CFL replacements for the odd two wire sockets. Upgraded garage light which by HOA must be on each night to a 2W LED bulb.
2. All electrical outlets insulated.
3. Did an energy audit of all my appliances using a Kill-O-Watt meter. Changed the energy settings on all of my computers (have five as I work from home). Added on/off outlet switches to all of the auto-switching home entertainment equipment to minimize "phantom" power usage.
4. Have all of my gas and electrical usage in a spreadsheet and need to graph out the results now that I've been living here for about 2 years now.
5. Upgraded the stove to a self cleaning unit, still electric, but more efficient Energy Star unit.
6. Upgraded the refridgerator to an LG Energy Star rated unit with a larger freezer compartment so I can now cook more at home vs. eating out WAY too much.
7. Installed an Energy Star Microwave over the oven.
8. Added a water heater blanket and insulation over all of the water pipes in the heater closet (which is in the garage and get's very cold).
9. Front loader washer and dryer are Energy Star.

Probably will put in a tankless hot water heater as the Federal Tax Credit and the Xcel credit will pay almost half of the price. Need to review the attic insulation but it seems pretty deep already, nearly a foot deep. Need to calculate if there is any advantage to adding anymore.

Cheers,

John
